What is Learner-ship
A learnership is a work-based form of education. Learnerships are training programmes where learners receive both workplace practical training and theoretical training from an accredited training provider.
How do learner-ships work?
Before a learnership is implemented, a learnership agreement must be concluded by the learner, the employer and the training provider. This is registered by the respective SETA and protects all participants, setting out the rights and duties of each party.
