The program with Scientec enabled us to identify disadvantaged learners within the local community who were willing to study but had no means and no access to funds. We embarked on interviews and selected candidates each year to be part of the learnership program for a full year. Some candidates were further sponsored to be part of the Workplace Placement program, which further improved their industrial skills. All our students completed their respective courses successfully. We have employed over 10 students from this program in as many years. We have also offered students, sponsored by other companies, to undergo their in-service training on our site. The staff and Leadership at Scientec have always been professional in their interaction. I foresee a long partnership with Scientec into the future.
